&lt;p&gt;I used ScreenFlow from &lt;a href="http://www.varasoftware.com/products/screenflow/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Vera Software&lt;/a&gt;. It records video and audio all the while it records your screen. You can then edit within its environment, then you export the production into Quicktime.&lt;/p&gt;
